Special Victims Unit
Mariska Hargitay realizes that pornography is behind every sex crime. Since Hargitay was raped as a child, "As a woman, it's gratifying to play a part that's a multi-layered challenge," said Hargitay. "Olivia is not only a competent, street-smart cop, she's an empathetic woman who can respond emotionally to victims of terrible crimes without compromising her professionalism." You see, catching the series sex predators has become a real healing force - in also assisting victims through her nonprofit. While the birth of her son, August, is a super time of mothering love, Mariska has received awards from December 2006 Emmy Winner for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, 2005 Golden Globe Winner for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, as well as the 2004 and 2005 Emmy Nominee, and 2004 Screen Actors Guild Nominee for Lead Actress. Spiritually Inspired
In her new trade book,
Beth Moore shares personal experiences with living in pits

magnitude of our worries can
press down on our heads until
we unknowingly descend into a
pit of despair one inch at a time. Something so
horrible can happen that we conclude we’ll never
be okay again. We can blow it so badly we think
God would just as soon we stayed under that dirt
and out of His sight. Click here to read the Living Proof Newsletter |
