Gender Indictment

Federal prosecutors want to gag an indicted former Washington, D.C. madam who has recently threatened to go public with details about her former customers, when the 10,000 men who sought her services were not indicted. The Feds seized over a million-in-half dollars worth of her assets, leaving Palfrey's only source of income selling her list of solicitors to pay for her defense. In a motion filed Monday in U.S. District Court, investigators are seeking a protective order covering discovery material to be provided to Deborah Palfrey and her lawyers. Feds Seek To Gag D.C. Madam Alleged Madam to Face Criminal Charges First

Confessions I used to hate this time of year. My stomach was in knots as I encountered eager young girls dressed in smart green or brown uniforms selling Girl Scout cookies. There was a time when I simply bought a box from every young girl I encountered. It didn't matter how many boxes I already had at home. I simply bought more. I thought of it as a way to pay back the people who bought them from me in my youth. Enough! As much as it hurts me to turn down a cute little girl, wide-eyed with the anticipation of her next sale, I simply can't do it anymore! Confessions of a former Girl Scout

Legalizing Obscenity Letters were sent to the Department of Commerce opposing to revised proposal to create a trible-x domain for pronographic websites on the Internet. The revised proposed XXX Domain, like the original, is being offered by ICM Registry.  The letters warned that porn only websites will only lead to more pornography on the web, not protecting the family from the invading effects of pornography, and will be used as an excuse not to prosecute obscenity laws. Among Other Deficiencies, it Would Appear the XXX Domain is Intended to Promote Legalization of Obscenity

Family Concerns

healthy food

When you read through Oprah's food diary, you'll notice right away that her diet is healthful but far from dull. She averages about 1,700 well-balanced calories daily, and her diet is about 20 percent protein, 30 percent fat (and rich in healthy fats), and 50 percent carbohydrates (good ones like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables). Thanks to all the yogurt and calcium-enriched soymilk she consumes, she's getting an average of about 1,100 mg of calcium daily. Lots of fresh foods prepared simply help keep her sodium levels well within recommended levels. She's a real fiber champion, too, averaging 34g a day. Oprah's Seven Day Diet Plan
