  Remarkable Move

Recently, I was witness to a remarkable move of God. My client  Bill Keller host of " Live Prayer with Bill Keller" went live for one hour on the Howard Stern Network, counseling and praying for Stern listeners.  Bill faced off with the toughest audience on the planet -- Stern listeners. And I'm here to tell you, God showed up, and showed off!  The heart of an evangelist shined through, as did Stern's genuine concern for one of his regular listeners "Jeff the drunk," who Bill (with Stern's support) made a public commitment on the air to find Jeff a job as a Carpenters apprentice . . . a lifelong dream of Jeff's.  Howard Stern Rocks Secular Radio World with Prayer, Counseling Session

Nanny State

This week San Francisco became the first U.S. city to ban plastic grocery bags from city supermarkets and drug stores. San Francisco generates an estimated 180 million plastic bags each year, and the city counsel wants them gone. Grocery shoppers will have to find an alternative within six months. Family Concerns

Joyce Meyer We’ve all fallen down at one time or another—not just physically but emotionally. And picking yourself back up again is, unfortunately, easier said than done. It doesn't take any special talent to give up or lie down on the roadside of life and say, "I quit!" In fact, the road to chronic discouragement, hopelessness and despair often begins with an ordinary day that ends up piled high with simple disappointments. According to Webster, disappoint means "to fail to satisfy the hope, desire, or expectation of." In other words, when we set ourselves up to hope for something and that hope isn’t met, we get disappointed. We feel let down or betrayed. I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up
