  Corporate Chaplains

Brian WilliamsCorporate donations to faith based nonprofits are still low, when considering corporate correctness. Nevertheless, in his lead-in to the last story of Holy Thursday’s NBC Nightly News broadcast, a report on the growing trend of company-provided chaplains in the workplace, anchor Brian Williams acknowledges “we are a very religious nation.”  The story features the nondenominational Corporate Chaplains of America, which serves 450 firms in 26 states.  Corporate chaplains offer on-site opportunities for employees to talk with a person of faith about issues that are bothering them.  NBC Acknowledges U.S. a “Very Religious Nation,” Promotes Corporate Chaplains

Lower Prices with Lower Family Values

HEB Grocery Stores, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, has a problem facing their managers -- pornography is found in their stores. Including females with large/buttocks covered with a thong published on magazine covers, and more, are targeted throughout the magazine counters and stands sexualizing our children within HEB.  When the Houston managers are approached for removal of the obscenity which violates the Community Standard for obscenity, the males are friendly each time confronted while the pornographic magazines are later found again, and letters requesting HEB to clean-up their stores aren't answered. Bring a friend, cameras, or tape recorders to your local HEB, and report your findings to info@HaaDecency.org.

Family Concerns

 Joyce Meyer

For Years

For years I had low self-esteem and I did not like myself. I hated my personality and I hated the way my voice sounded. Somewhere along the line, through the abuse I had endured growing up, I internalized the shame. I was no longer ashamed of what was happening to me—I became ashamed of me. I was hurting and, consequently, was hurting other people. Did you know that if you don't like yourself, you are never going to like anybody else, and you won't be able to help your spouse like himself or herself? You will spend all your time trying to prove your own value. Is That Your Dripping Towel?
