pat robertson Many Christian teens in America's high schools are no longer content with having their biblical views silenced while the homosexual agenda is actively promoted on their campuses.  That's why on April 19, more than 5,000 Christian students from more than 1,000 high schools in 50 states will participate in the 3rd annual "Day of Truth" event. The Day of Truth, sponsored by the Alliance Defense Fund, gives students a platform on which to stand against the promotion of homosexuality. Students initiating the event at their schools are offered special assistance by ADF. "Teens Battle Gay Agenda in Schools"

Prison Reform I keep reading that prisons are over-crowded. Things have gotten so bad in some places that a certain number of felons are periodically released. Bureaucrats are always quick to assure us that these are non-violent criminals. But I don't buy it. Thanks to plea bargains, hardly anybody is convicted and doing time for the actual crime or crimes he committed. Frankly, I must confess I'm surprised that the jails all have their No Vacancy signs lit up. After all, when a Sandy Berger gets off with the equivalent of community service for stealing and shredding classified documents, O.J. Simpson is free to hone his golf game in Florida, and Robert Blake is home watching his video of "In Cold Blood," one could easily get the idea that it's impossible to convict anyone of anything these days. Family Concerns

 Joyce Meyer

Wandering The people of Israel wandered around in the desert for forty years, making what should have only been an eleven-day journey. Why? Was it because of their enemies, their circumstances, or the trials along the way? Or was it something entirely different that prevented them from arriving at their destination? As I pondered this situation, God gave me a powerful revelation that helped me, personally, and thousands of others. Is Your Mind in the Desert?
