 Groomed by a Pedophile

The FBI estimates that there is one child molester per square mile in the United States. The majority of molested children are victimized by family members, close relatives or people who have easy access to them. Is your child being groomed by a pedophile? Dr. Phil offers the following warning signs:

  • You're vulnerable if you are a single parent and lack time to spend with your child.
  • You're vulnerable if you are desperate for help from outsiders.
  • If your child is from a broken or unstable home, pedophiles recognize this, and use it as a way to get inside. Read More on Advice - Is Your Child Being Groomed by a Predator?

Broadcast Indecency  Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) is introducing two amendments today to the Financial Services Appropriations bill that clarify the broadcast indecency law under attack by the courts. Your support is needed if the Federal Communications Commission is to retain its power to fine stations for profane content when children are in the audience, and to have the power needed to fight excessively violent programming. The number for your Senators is 202-244-3121. Listen | Download

Avoid Daycare  I recently became aware that a person I know received a daycare license from the state. One would believe that this means it would be a "safe" environment to abandon your children in. But here is the rest of the story - the Provided neglected to tell the state that her father, who molested her and all four of her sisters for years, lives in the backyard of her home. Not only that, but she has him assist her in the care of the children in her care - including times when she is not there. Another Reason To Avoid Daycare

Family Concerns

See Yourself Do you like yourself? After years of trying to help people emotionally, mentally, spiritually and socially, it was a major breakthrough when I discovered that most people really don’t like themselves. Some of them know it, while others don’t even have a clue that this is probably the root of so many other problems in their lives. God wants us to have great relationships, but self-rejection and even self-hatred are the roots of many relationship problems. In fact, I’ve found the Bible to be a book about relationships, providing valuable advice about my relationship with God, other people and even myself. How Do You See Yourself?
