"Please do us all a favor... get raped and then killed. You rancid, filthy ___." That's a direct quote from an e-mail I received after appearing on "The O'Reilly Factor." I was on the show objecting to the San Diego Padres celebration of "Gay Pride" on the same day they invited hundreds of children for a floppy hat giveaway. "You are a shameful disgrace and hate monger," penned another in response to my statement that homosexuality is an unhealthy, life-shortening lifestyle that should not be promoted by the Padres to children. For such "hate" I was named runner up for the "Worst Person in the World" by MSNBC's Keith Olberman. This kind of vulgarity, exaggeration and the not-so-veiled threats are nothing new to those of us who dare speak the truth to a world turned upside down. Homosexual activists have propagated their deceptive message so effectively that their own community tragically believes they cannot change, they have no choice—and that people who oppose their "choice" hate them. Sexual Experimentation Sadly, the opponents of abstinence education don't want an equally tough approach to the realities of sexual activity. Their mantra is: "kids are going to experiment, so give them condoms." But given the unforgiving nature of a sexually transmitted disease such as genital herpes – once you get it, you've got it for life – not to mention some of the others like human papillomavirus (HPV) that increase the odds of cervical cancer, or the lengthy and unrelenting demands of taking care of an unplanned infant, I think it is only fair for the kids to know exactly what their odds are when they are given condoms and told "if you're going to do it, use protection." The Calculus of Sexual Experimentation

Overcoming Oppression It’s so easy to get caught up in our petty problems. The traffic is horrible, the check-out line is slow, it’s too hot, my hair is frizzy, the weeds are taking over the yard, the doctor is making me wait … blah, blah, blah. Don't get me wrong -- it's just dandy to get annoyed at life's little annoyances, as long as you also try to fix those things that you can. We should be efficient with our time and not waste the precious hours and days God has given us. And that includes making an effort to stop mindless complaining. Do you tend to exhibit road rage in heavy traffic and always end up late? Leave earlier. Hate long check-out lines? Shop during downtimes. Too hot? Go play under the hose or hang out in the air-conditioned mall, for pity’s sake. Having a bad hair day? Get over it. Overcoming oppression
