If Houston's 5,000 kids on probation continue through the Junenvile Justice System unchecked, they will be fully equipped as they enter the adult criminal courts.  Guess what? We'll have more sex predators. Currently, adult criminal courts, which are filled with over 51% of sex crimes, are waiting for the youthful offenders to join their brotherhood in crime. Numerous elected officials, authorities, and committed citizens  are brainstorming for solutions to cut the fatherless kids off at the pass. Battling huge numbers of future sex predators is here and now, as Houston is expected to shutdown over 250 topless bars. HISD also confirms over 75% of black children, and 60% of white children are from fatherless homes with over 20,000 additional persons moving to Houston monthly.  According to Getting Men Involved: Their Newsletter offers the following information:
  • 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes (Source: U.S. D.H.H.S., Bureau of the Census
  • 90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes
  • 85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes (Source: Center for Disease Control)
  • 80% of rapists motivated with displaced anger come from fatherless homes (Source: Criminal Justice & Behavior, Vol 14, p. 403-26, 1978.)

  • 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes (Source: National Principals Association Report on the State of High Schools.)
  • 75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes (Source: Rainbows for all Gods Children.
  • 70% of juveniles in state-operated institutions come from fatherless homes (Source: U.S. Dept. of Justice, Special Report, Sept 1988)
  • 85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home (Source: Fulton Co. Georgia jail populations, Texas Dept. of Corrections 1992) 85% of Youths in Prison Grew Up in Fatherless Home

A community of a dozen Mennonite families in Quebec is ready to leave the province rather than succumb to provincial government demands that would require their children to be taught evolution and homosexuality. While the government sees its actions as nothing more than enforcing technical regulations, many view the case as intolerance of Christian faith. The community runs a small Mennonite school out of a church in Roxton Falls where eleven children in elementary grades were expected to commence studies this Fall.  Subjects include reading, writing, math, science, geography, social sciences, music and French.  However, they are not schooled in evolution and homosexuality (sex education)as demanded by the official provincial curriculum. Family Concerns

Daily Broadcast

Today, people everywhere are struggling through life with damaged emotions. They’ve endured a lot of negative things, causing untold damage that needs to be dealt with. But all too often, these hurts are simply swept under the rug in an attempt to make them go away.

Through my own life experiences and from many years of helping others through this process, I’ve discovered that although God wants to help those who really want emotional healing, there are some very important steps these individuals must take for themselves. If you want to receive emotional healing, one of the first steps you must take is to face the truth. You can’t be set free while living in denial. You can’t pretend that certain negative things didn’t happen to you.
Face the Truth!
