More than three dozen people in New Jersey have been charged with sending child rape photos and videos over the Internet, officials said Thursday. The arrests cap a two-month investigation in which a state police technology investigations unit combed the Internet for New Jerseyans who distributed such images. Forty-one people were arrested. Officials said the photos and videos have been made available worldwide. "Many who have sexually assaulted children started down that road with child porn," State Police Superintendent Rick Fuentes said. "This operation places a roadblock in their path." The investigation, dubbed Operation Silent Shield, encompassed 15 of New Jersey's 21 counties and numerous law enforcement agencies. The arrests began 10 days ago and continued through Thursday, state police said. The arrests come as police and the FBI conduct a nationwide manhunt for Chester Arthur Stiles, 37,

SWEEPING VICTORY The Kentucky Court of Appeals handed a sweeping victory to Louisville metro government yesterday in its effort to regulate adult businesses. In an 89-page opinion, a three-judge panel upheld the constitutionality of Louisville's adult-entertainment ordinance, saying it is within the city's right to prohibit dancers and patrons from touching, forbid alcohol sales inside those clubs, limit hours of operation and create a six-foot buffer zone between dancers on stage and customers.
Lawyers for the business owners can ask the appellate court to review its decision in hopes it will change it, or they could appeal the ruling to the Kentucky Supreme Court.

REASONING Many Christians live in the shallow area of their soul—they live by what they want, think and
feel. That’s where I was for a good part of my early years as a Christian. But thankfully, God
didn’t leave me there. He began calling me to come out into the deep—to begin following the
leading of His Spirit instead of the dictates of my flesh.
God dealt strongly with my emotions and my will. Then He moved to the area of my mind,
where I had some major strongholds of wrong thinking that needed to be changed—reasoning
being one of the worst.
I was a person who was heavily into reasoning, always trying to figure out the “why” behind
something and planning excessively for what was ahead. But one day God required me to give it
up. He showed me that reasoning is the opposite of trust and that I couldn’t do both at the same
time. He then led me to some specific scriptures that opened my eyes Set Free from Excessive Reasoning
