What will Sarah Palin do after she quits as Alaska's governor? She hasn't said exactly, but she certainly won't suffer from a lack of options.

The former Republican vice presidential nominee, in revealing her decision to resign abruptly by the end of the month, said Friday she still wanted to make a difference.

"And I'll work hard for others who still believe in free enterprise and smaller government; strong national security for our country and support for our troops; energy independence; and for those who will protect freedom and equality and life," she said in a news conference at her home in Wasilla. "I'll work for and campaign for those proud to be American, and those who are inspired by our ideals and won't deride them."

Palin, 45, didn't elaborate on how she'd achieve those goals, but ..... Read On

SUPREME DECISIONS With the Supreme Court's decision in Ricci v. DeStefano this week, we can now report that Sonia Sotomayor is even crazier than Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

To recap the famous Ricci case, in 2003, the city of New Haven threw out the results of a firefighters' test -- which had been expressly designed to be race-neutral -- because only whites and Hispanics scored high enough to receive immediate promotions, whereas blacks who took the test did well enough only to be eligible for promotions down the line. TWISTED ADULTS If you’re a twisted adult who gets pleasure from having sex with 5-year-old boys (like Duke University’s Frank Lombard), or you like to shop for dates at the Metro Zoo, or enjoy smearing your body with feces and/or dabbin’ a little urine on your earlobes as you prep for sexy time with the corpse you dressed up like Bette Davis in your basement, then more than likely you are thanking Dionysus and your unclean demon that Liberals are running DC.

Yep, with the Liberals in the house your deviant behavior—along with over 500 additional unmentionables—could potentially be legitimized and federally protected against anyone who ... Read On

Alex Kozinski: Judge admonished for posting sex videos on website PORNOGRAPHIC FILES After apologizing for "allowing his personal conduct to embarrass the federal judiciary," Ninth Circuit Chief Judge Alex Kozinski was reprimanded by the Third Circuit's Judicial Council for inadvertently allowing public access to highly embarrassing images that were stored on his computer. No discipline was imposed.

"His conduct exhibiting poor judgment with respect to this material created a public controversy that can reasonably be seen as having resulted in embarrassment to the institution of the federal judiciary," wrote Third Circuit Chief Judge Anthony Scirica. Read On

N.O.W. is HURTING Lawyer and political organizer Terry O’Neill won the Presidency of the National Organization for Women (NOW) by a slim margin — a mere eight votes — by promising to “restore NOW’s revenue stream,” “reverse our membership losses,” and “revitalize our message.”  Those goals, of course, acknowledge the facts that the premier feminist organization has been struggling to regain relevance and the feminist myths that undergird the organization are passé.  During the campaign for the NOW presidency, both candidates stressed the “need to energize” and rebuild its ranks.

The election pitted O’Neill, a 56-year-old white activist, against Latifa Lyles, NOW’s 33-year-old black vice president for membership.  Lyles’ supporters stressed the “generational shift in the country” and the need for NOW to project a “new image of youth and diversity” in order to attract younger members and reinvigorate the feminist movement. Read On
