Help Us Grow, DONATE
NO, It wasn't My Idea

From the father of Hanna Giles...... It’s been quite interesting watching and reading the statements coming from ACORN and various “news” organizations about the “facts” of the Giles/O’Keefe ACORN caper. Here’s a little sample of what they have been saying about the two evil citizen journalists, Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe, the ones who picked on poor, poor, poor, old ACORN.

Check it out, the truth according to nutty ACORN (and what really happened):

1. Giles’ and O’Keefe’s timeframe for filming. Bertha Lewis and others have stated that Hannah and James spent many months visiting scores of ACORN centers to get these few videos. One wizard said Hannah and James had been doing this since 2005, which would have made Hannah, oh, let’s see, about 14 or 15. Hello! I’m a cool dad—but not that cool. The Ku Klux Klan may start marketing a line of baby bigot wear if they fall for Newsweek's Sept. 14, cover story, "See Baby Discriminate."

According to the editors at the "we've fallen for him and we can't get up" Barack Obama fan magazine: "Kids as young as 6 months judge others based on skin color." Thanks to Newsweek, we now know why babies are comfortable in hoods-at least white ones-both babies and hoods, that is.

If you expected Newsweek to include a photo of a black baby with a white baby to illustrate its cover story, you probably waste too much money on lottery tickets. Read On

SHE PIMPS There’s been a quiet change going on in the sex slavery business. According to the United Nations, there are now more female traffickers than male. The number of women involved as pimps in sex trafficking is disproportionate to the number of female perpetrators in other criminal activity. The United Nations’ report, Global Report on Trafficking in Persons, agrees with previous estimates from the U.S. State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Office (TIP) that sex trafficking accounts for the majority — nearly 80 percent — of human trafficking, with the victims overwhelmingly women and girls.

What is not surprising is that most of the female traffickers are former victims of... Read On

A TRUE FAN ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A true fan of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is paying $63,500 to have dinner with her. Cathy Maples of Huntsville, Ala., on Friday won the dinner in an Internet auction, which was a benefit for a charity that aids wounded veterans. Maples says she fully supports the military and the men and women fighting for this nation. Maples, who owns a defense contracting company, also says she's a "big advocate" for Palin, and would love to see her as president. Palin offered the dinner as part of the charity auction on eBay for the Ride 2 Recovery program, which supports wounded veterans through cycling programs. Organizers say the winner will have to foot the travel bill to meet up with Palin, likely in Alaska. Maples says that's no problem.

DADS ARE IMPORTANT Freddie Scott grew up with his dad in the NFL. There were good and bad things about his childhood, but one thing he learned over the years: Dads are an indispensable part of a child's life. His book, The Dad I Wish I Had, is the result of wisdom gained from those lessons.  A former NFL star himself, Scott now works for Tony Dungy's organization, All Pro Dad. He and his wife, Tondalanea, have five children. 1.  Tell me about growing up. I was born into an NFL family. My father, Freddie Scott Sr., played 11 years in the NFL with the then-Baltimore Colts and Detroit Lions and one year in the USFL (United States Football League) with the Los Angeles Express. And so growing up, I sort of bounced around from city to city. I'd start in one school and then finish my summers in Miami with my grandparents. I was always the most popular kid in class because everybody wanted autographs. I'd have birthday parties on the football field. They could go to practices. So, you had the perks of the NFL life, but we also experienced challenges in our family. Read On
