InAugust 1998, three days after Clinton admitted to the nation that he did in fact have "sex with that woman," he bombed Afghanistan and Sudan, doing about as much damage as another Clinton fusillade did to a blue Gap dress. If Only Bin Laden Had a Stained Blue Dress...

War Porn
Today, pornography is sold at most base exchanges (BXs) in the United States. It’s part of a $57-billion-a-year worldwide industry. Porn revenue is larger than the combined revenues of all professional football, baseball and basketball franchises, according to the Internet Filter Review. In the United States, revenue from pornography ($12 billion a year) far exceeds the combined revenues of the three major television networks – ABC, CBS and NBC ($6.2 billion). In Iraq, alcohol and pornography – including Internet porn – are banned for enlisted personnel out of sensitivity to adherents of the country’s dominant religion, Islam. But despite the prohibitions and blocking software on military computers, Father Mark Reilly, who served as a Marine chaplain in Iraq this year, said increasing numbers of both men and women serving in Iraq have access to porn, and have become addicted. Recruiting Problems
The New York Times reports today that pro-homosexual activists are mounting a renewed push to scrap the military's ban on homosexual conduct, which is usually referred to by the slang term for the Clinton compromise on the issue known as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Lawsuits making the claim that the homosexual exclusion from the military is unconstitutional have consistently failed, so activists are now taking a more political approach, publicizing the stories of potential recruits or former service members who are homosexual. With the nation at war, they argue that lifting the ban on homosexuals would help with military recruiting problems. This hardly seems likely when homosexuals constitute only about two percent of the population--and when forcing recruits into barracks and foxholes with people who view them as sexual objects might deter more people than it would attract.

Our brave soldiers brave hardship, pain and death. Aiding these men and women are chaplains, who minister to them at risk of their own lives. Our chaplains are from different faiths and have been allowed, until now, to pray and minister according to their religious convictions. After some questionable religious practices at the Air Force Academy, the Air Force has passed interim guidelines that go to the opposite extreme and undermine the ability of chaplains to minister according to their own faith tradition, conveys Tony Perkins.
